Why are we Here?

One important question we always want an answer to as humans, is the question of purpose.
Why am I here?
There's always that yearning in us to know why we are here. Countless number of times have found myself praying "Lord show me my purpose"
Like, I wanna know why I'm here. That's the reason why I'm living.

Getting to know the why of our lives is paramount. It settles a lot of things.

Our purpose is pretty obvious. Gen 1:28 shows us the purpose God had in mind for creating us.
"And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth."
Genesis 1:28 KJV

God's purpose for us is to be fruitful and multiply.
How can we be fruitful?                                  By knowing God.
How can we multiply?                                      By making God known. We increase the likes of us on earth.

So what's our purpose?
Knowing God and making him known. It's not about us, but about God.
It's so straightforward.
The journey of purpose starts when we receive the life of Christ. That's the basis of every other thing we are going to do in life.
When we receive the life of Christ, he then works through us to make himself known. What an honor!

How?
God has the blue print. He's the one to give the medium through which he want us to make him known. Apart from witnessing, which is the responsibility of every believer, there are some other ways through which God wants us to make him known.
For some it's through their career.

Your career may be a vehicle for the fulfilment of purpose, or may even be a divine assignment, but it's not your Purpose.- Emmanuel Iren

Whichever career we are building, it  must be centered on Christ and leading people to Him.

It could be through the natural ability that God deposited in you.
A good script writer?
Write movies/stories that will draw people to God or a  A social media influencer?
Make Jesus trend through the contents you share on your social media pages.
That's not to leave out the fact that we have to ask God for the medium. But what you're good at may just be a pointer to the medium.

Whatever you do, make sure that making Christ known is the goal. It must mirror Christ.
That's the only way to make whatever we do before him count.
This settled, then fulfilment comes. It extends to every other thing you find yourself doing to make Christ known. You begin find fulfillment in all you do.

This is the only way we can make the *most* of what God planted in us, and then we can subdue and replenish the earth! and also have dominion as the latter part of Gen 1:28 says.

Making Christ known is the center point of it all, and that's is our Purpose.
