THE PROCESS

In my last blog post, we talked about the why of our existence. We established in the last post that Knowing God and making him known is that primary reason for which we exist.
In this post, I'll be talking about the PROCESS. So, let's get right into it.

When God gives us instructions while we are walking in his plan, no matter how minute or illogical it may sound, obedience is required. The ticket to enlargement on the journey of purpose, is in obedience to that instruction. Don't despise these small beginnings.

On this journey, he would give us instructions to serve. Jesus our example, came to seek and save the lost. He came to serve, and not to be served. When we give our life away in service, we actually find life. Purpose becomes clearer. The medium becomes clearer in service. Making God known through witnessing, in addition to the special medium he gives us is an act of service.

Joseph's journey revolved around service. His understanding of purpose became clearer in service. He knew what to do and what not to do. A sense of direction was birthed. The understanding that his life purposes revolved around service was the basis of this statement.

Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that he sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life. Genesis 45:5

Not too long ago, I read the story of how Damilola Mike Bamiloye called his Dad one evening during his NYSC, and told him that the Lord spoke to him that he should become his father's P.A immediately after his service. His Dad was a bit surprised, but they prayed about it and God assured them that was what he would have him do at that time. After he did this, it was missions next after which he entered into shooting movies and full production.
I believe that if he had not accepted what the LORD told him to do at the beginning, he would not have brought him into the next phase_ Mike Bamiloye

A lot of us, if not all see the way God is using him today in the Christian movie industry. That definitely did not happen by magic. That's the reward of obedience and service.
The process of making God known is not going to be all rosy. And the fact that the assignment is God given, does not excuse us from facing challenges. I used to think that anything I don't find easy doing, am not called to do it but that's not always the case. Purpose will stretch you.

Yea, we desire big things, but they won't just jump on us. We have to work towards it. There's a building process to go through.
The way to enjoy this season, is to learn to see every difficulty or problem we face as a process God is taking us through in other to teach us something which will definitely be useful for us on the journey.

Also, sometimes those you expect to support your dreams may not even move an inch for us. It could be painful but once you are sure that it's God sending you on the assignment, be sure that he will raise total strangers to support you.

God will never leave you at the mercy of men. And as much as we need people to support us, we also need to do same for others.

We must also trust God with our lives. We should trust him enough to know that whatever he's making out of our lives is definitely going to be great, and he's going to blow minds. As we trust God for whatever he wants us to do; we must be sensitive to the timing. When does he want you carry out that instruction? So we jump ahead of ourselves.

And even when we make mistakes on the journey, God is ready to bring us up, once we are ready to rise.  That we fall, does not mean we are out of the race. All we need to do, is to rise and rely on God's grace to finish well.

Lastly, I would like to say this: We don't have to be in the spotlight to shine and at the same time getting all the attention doesn't mean we are fulfilling purpose. So there's a time to be at the back stage and also a time to be at the fore front.

I hope that at the end, we all see while the process was necessary and may we never miss it.
May we do more for God this year!
And may the LORD release upon us the grace to persevere.

Remember, Purpose will stretch you, but in the end you will be grateful for the stretch.
